The National Labor Relations Board (NLRB) has extended the implementation deadline for its notice posting rule, from November 14 to January 31, 2012.
As a result of the October 5 extension, nearly all private sector and non-profit employers have until January 31 to post a notice outlining employee rights under the National Labor Relations Act (NLRA). Authorized posters can be downloaded HERE.
Please note that this announcement does not affect the current requirement that certain federal contractors must post NLRA employee rights in their workplaces. That requirement was established by President Obama’s Executive Order of January 30, 2009.
