Members from West Virginia, Virginia and Pennsylvania recently traveled to that nation’s capital to meet with their elected officials in Congress, sharing their views on health care and workplace flexibility.
Throughout this year, HR professionals from across the country have created a strong presence on Capitol Hill. Coupled with the SHRM’s HR Advocacy Day (conducted during the March Employment Law and Legislative Conference) and SHRM’s Leadership Hill Day (scheduled for November 19), nearly 500 HR professionals have held meetings on Capitol Hill this year.
