Complimentary registration for the SHRM 2012 Leadership Conference is provided for the following positions and their 2013 roles. We also cover designated meals, as well as overnight accommodations for select groups. See below for volunteer role descriptions plus a detailed description of covered expenses. Please Note: All of the volunteer roles, as listed below, require SHRM membership.

Chapter President or President-Elect
One per Chapter
Current Chapter President or current chapter president-elect representing the SHRM Chapter.
In addition to registration, SHRM covers overnight accommodations for Thursday and Friday nights.
100% Chapter President or President-Elect
One per Chapter
Current Chapter President or current chapter president-elect representing the 100% SHRM Chapter.
In addition to registration, SHRM covers overnight accommodations for Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights.
State Council Director or State Council Director-Elect
One per State; If it is a transition year, both the 2012 & 2013 State Council Director may attend
SHRM Member elected as the current state council director, or as the state countil director for the incoming term of office. SHRM Membership is required.
In addition to registration, SHRM covers overnight accommodations for Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights.
State Council Membership Director
One per State Council
SHRM Member appointed to promote state and local activities concering SHRM membership recruitment and retention.

State Council District Director
One per State Council
SHRM member appointed to represent a designated geographical area within a state.
In addition to registration, SHRM covers overnight accommodations for Thursday and Friday nights.
Chapter Management Professional (CMP)
One per Chapter
Individuals hired by the SHRM Chapter to provide association management and administrative services.
In addition to registration, SHRM covers overnight accommodations for Thursday and Friday nights.
Member Advisory Council (MAC) Representative
One per Region
The elected MAC representative from each of the Regional Councils.
In addition to registration, SHRM covers overnight accommodations for Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights.
Cancellation Policy
Cancellations must be made in writing and faxed to +1-703-535-6490 or emailed to cscresearch@shrm.org. There is no cancellation fee.
