The Excel Awards for Chapters and State Councils

Introduced for 2010, the recognition component of the SHRM Affiliate Program for Excellence (SHAPE) is the Excel Awards.  Awards may be earned at four levels:  Bronze, Silver, Gold and Platinum.  Each level builds on a prescribed set of requirements and accomplishments.  Chapters and state councils must submit a SHAPE Year-End Report no later than the due date to be considered for an award.  Chapter Excel Award winners will be notified in March and State Council winners will be notified in May.  Winners will receive award podium banners and recognition in SHRM publications and at conferences. For more information on the new award levels, please visit the SHAPE Center.

Membership Star and Superstar Awards

The Membership Star and Superstar Awards recognize achievement in SHRM membership growth.  All chapters and state councils are eligible for this program.  Award levels recognize membership growth during the calendar year.  The 2013 award parameters are:

Star:  1% -3.99%
Superstar:  4%+

Award winners will receive a recognition e-mail and award graphics for their use in publicizing their achievement in newletters, on their website, etc.  Award notification will be made in March.

Congratulations to the chapters and state councils achieving Membership Star and Superstar status for the calendar year 2012.  View the winner listings.
