The Society for Human Resource Management has made the strategic decision to incorporate its Global Conference with its larger
Annual Conference. SHRM’s long-term goal is to integrate global content into all of its products and services, beginning with a more internationally-focused Annual Conference. The Society’s recent strategic business review reaffirmed that the Annual Conference is
the showcase for SHRM.
We have appreciated your sponsorship support at our past Global Conferences and would be excited to include you as a sponsor of SHRM’s Annual Conference in June. The larger Annual Conference can provide you contact with a greater number of domestic and international attendees interested in global products and services. SHRM is committed to maintaining a personal environment at Annual Conference, and we plan to host events and receptions so that our exhibitors, sponsors and international attendees have an opportunity to connect and network.
SHRM’s decision to combine the two conferences offers HR professionals everywhere more global content; an opportunity to acquire Global Professional in Human Resources recertification credits; more enhanced networking opportunities with a larger, international audience; and an increased awareness of cross-border business issues.
To preserve the benefits of past Global Conferences, the new Annual Conference will include educational sessions tailored for smaller groups on the HR practices of global companies, including U.S. and non-U.S. multinationals, both within and outside the countries where they are headquartered.
We look forward to working with you and including you as part of SHRM’s 2010 Annual Conference & Exhibition in San Diego from June 27 – 30, 2010.
