What Is the California State Council of SHRM? As an affiliate of the Society for Human Resource Management, the California State Council of SHRM offers HR professionals the opportunity to network with peers, find a wealth of information on chapter development and retention, learn from local and national speakers, participate in California and national certification programs, gain volunteer leadership experience and recognition, and much more.  

There are 17 chapters within California, and the California State Council of SHRM is dedicated to developing value-added services to meet the needs of chapter members, to sustain the level of engagement from its members, and to provide a united HR voice for positive legislative impact in California.  More information on the California State Council of SHRM can be found at http://cal.shrm.org .
