California Certification Exam
The California Certification examination is the first state credentialing exam developed by HR Certification Institute which tests the mastery of California’s human resource laws. Upon passing the California certification examination you will be awarded the designation of PHR-CA or SPHR-CA depending on the national certification you hold.
You must hold the PHR or SPHR certification designation to sit for the California Certification Examination.
Note: The SHRM California Learning System is not a substitute for the certification examination. If you wish to take the PHR-CA or SPHR-CA examination, you must complete a separate application form online through the HR Certification Institute.
