 Official’s Single Use of ‘N-Word’ Could Create Hostile Environment
A black Fannie Mae employee could proceed to trial with federal race-based harassment and discrimination claims. A supervisor’s use of the n-word alone “might well have been sufficient to establish a hostile work environment,” the U.S. Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia Circuit ruled.
