SHRM partnered with Business for Social Responsibility (BSR) and Aurosoorya to ask HR professionals in the United States what their companies are doing to balance financial performance with contributions to the quality of life of their employees, the society at large and environmentally sensitive initiatives. This report presents the results from this quantitative survey, SHRM research resources and quantitative studies related to sustainability, global perspectives on sustainability, and qualitative case studies from BSR and Aurosoorya focusing on how sustainability efforts are being initiated and managed throughout organizations.
