This SHRM Poll examined use of employee suggestion programs in organizations. About two out of five organizations reported that they have a formal system for employees to submit ideas. Among organizations with formal employee suggestion programs, nearly one-half reported that the program links to the organization’s strategic planning process to a large degree or to some degree.
