Managing Employee Absences SHRM Poll

This SHRM Poll looks at employee absence in the workplace, the indirect costs that can be a result from these absences and if organizations have a program in place for tracking these circumstances. The majority of organizations (79%) reported they currently have a program in place to track workplace absences but more than one-half of the organizations do not track the indirect costs from employees’ unplanned (61%) or extended (53%) absences.
