How common is the use of social networking sites for recruitment? Currently, very few organizations are using social networking sites as a primary source of recruitment, yet the use of these sites is rising and will no doubt increase over time. This article, based on a survey conducted in May 2008, presents current data on how staffing professionals are using online technologies, specifically social networking sites, for recruitment and screening of job candidates.
