Name of Award SIOP-SHRM HRM Impact Award
Description The Society for Industrial and Organizational Psychology (SIOP) and the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM), together with the SIOP and SHRM Foundations, are co-sponsoring the first international award to honor organizations that have outstanding evidence-based HR management practices.
The competition will select winners based on HR practices and initiatives that have been measured and determined successful through evidence-based, data-driven analyses. One or more winning organization will be recognized publicly each year. Any for-profit, not-for-profit, or government organization located anywhere in the world may apply for this award. Award submissions will be accepted March 1-July 1, 2013. Further information and application instructions can be found at www.hrmimpactawards.org.

Name of Award Michael R. Losey Human Resource Research Award
Description This $50,000 award is funded by the Society for Human Resource Management, and SHRM's affiliates, the SHRM Foundation and the HR Certification Institute. This award recognizes experts who have made outstanding research contributions and who will use this award to facilitate continuing contributions to the HR field.

Name of Award The Excel Awards - Professional Chapters and State Councils
Description The recognition component of the SHRM Affiliate Program for Excellence (SHAPE) is the Excel Awards.  Awards may be earned at four levels:  Bronze, Silver, Gold and Platinum.  Each level builds on a prescribed set of requirements and accomplishment.  Chapters and state councils must submit the required SHAPE Year-End Report no later than the due date for award consideration.  Winners of the award will be notified in March and will receive award podium banners and recognition in SHRM publications and at conferences.

Name of Award SHRM Pinnacle Awards
Description The SHRM Pinnacle Award Program is designed to honor SHRM affiliates for high-level development and contribution that enhance the development of effective human resource management. All SHRM chapters and state councils are eligible to submit applications. Up to seven $1,000 Pinnacle Awards will be made to chapters and up to two $1,000 Pinnacle Award will be awarded to state councils. In addition to the awards and monetary grants, this impressive program provides increased prestige among your peers and enhanced recognition in the human resource industry.

Name of Scholarship/Program SHRM Foundation Dissertation Awards
Description SHRM Foundation Dissertation Grants are given to four promising researchers in the field of human resource management at the dissertation stage of their doctoral education. This annual competition is funded by the SHRM Foundation, in partnership with the HR Division of the Academy of Management and is intended to support the dissertation research of doctoral candidates. The winners of these dissertation grants each receive a plaque, $5,000 from the SHRM Foundation, and are honored at the Academy of Management's annual meeting. More information.

Name of Scholarship/Program Scholarship Program for HR Professionals
Description
The SHRM Foundation Scholarship Program awards a total of $100,000 annually to SHRM members pursuing a college degree or professional certification. (Note: applicants must be professional, general, or associate members of SHRM; student members are not eligible for this program.) Each SHRM domestic region awards 20 scholarships totaling $20,000 annually. Awards are made in October. More information.

Name of Scholarship/Program The Susan R. Meisinger Fellowship for Graduate Study in HR
Description
The Meisinger Fellowship, named in honor of former SHRM CEO Susan R. Meisinger, is a premier source of funding for first-time master's degree students in human resources. The Fellowship is geared toward SHRM members who want to leverage significant past contributions in HR while continuing to contribute to the field by earning a graduate degree in human resource management.
