The Excel Awards - Professional Chapters |
| Description |
The recognition component of the SHRM Affiliate Program for Excellence (SHAPE) is the Excel Awards. Awards may be earned at four levels: Bronze, Silver, Gold and Platinum. Each level builds on a prescribed set of requirements and accomplishment. Chapters must submit the required SHAPE Year-End Report no later than the due date for award consideration. Winners of the award will be notified in March and will receive award podium banners and recognition in SHRM publications and at conferences |

Chapter Merit Award - Student Chapters |
| Description |
The award recognizes student chapters of SHRM for their exceptional ability in operations, the professional development of chapter members, promotion of the profession and support of SHRM. Submissions must be postmarked by the due date to be considered for an award. Winners of the award are notified in May and receive plaques and recognition in SHRM publications and at conferences. |

SHRM Pinnacle Awards |
| Description |
The SHRM Pinnacle Award Program is designed to honor SHRM affiliates for high-level development and contribution that enhance the development of effective human resource management. All SHRM chapters and state councils are eligible to submit applications. Up to seven $1,000 Pinnacle Awards will be made to chapters and up to two $1,000 Pinnacle Award will be awarded to state councils. In addition to the awards and monetary grants, this impressive program provides increased prestige among your peers and enhanced recognition in the human resource industry. |

SHRM Foundation Dissertation Awards |
| Description |
SHRM Foundation Dissertation Grants are given to four promising researchers in the field of human resource management at the dissertation stage of their doctoral education. This annual competition is funded by the SHRM Foundation, in partnership with the HR Division of the Academy of Management and is intended to support the dissertation research of doctoral candidates. The winners of these dissertation grants each receive a plaque, $5,000 from the SHRM Foundation, and are honored at the Academy of Management's annual meeting. More information. |

| Description |
The SHRM Foundation Scholarship Program awards a total of $100,000 annually to SHRM members pursuing a college degree or professional certification. (Note: applicants must be professional, general, or associate members of SHRM; student members are not eligible for this program.) Each SHRM domestic region awards 20 scholarships totaling $20,000 annually. Awards are made in October. More information. |
