Nereida (Neddy) Perez, Director

     

Nereida (Neddy) Perez serves as Global Vice President and Chief Diversity Officer for Ingersoll Rand.  In this capacity she is responsible for the developing and leading the company’s Progressive, Diversity and Inclusion efforts. Neddy's background includes more than 19 years of experience in Human Resources, Diversity Management, Corporate Relations, and Internal Communications.  Prior to joining Ingersoll Rand, she worked with a number of global companies in building their diversity efforts including National Grid, KPMG, Sodexho and Royal Dutch Shell (Shell Oil).   She has worked in the UK, Netherlands, and Latin America.

Born in Havana, Cuba she has received numerous awards and recognition for her contributions to advancing the work of diversity and inclusion. She has worked with a variety of non-profit organizations to create programs that empower people and remove organizational barriers to advancement.  Neddy is one of the principals behind the creation of STEM Connector, a web portal that serves as a clearinghouse for Science Technology, Engineering and Math initiatives/programs. She also developed and implemented Shell Oil’s Digital Divide Initiative which focused on closing the gap in underserved communities and providing access to technology.
