Bernadette Kenny serves as both Senior Vice President of Human Resources and Chief Career Officer for Adecco Group North America. She is responsible for the human resource functions all Adecco companies, including Lee Hecht Harrison, Ajilon Professional Staffing and Ajilon Consulting. As Chief Career Officer, Kenny has expanded responsibilities to actively demonstrate Adecco’s commitment to the personal career development of our employees, and to support Adecco’s clients in their workforce planning. She is a well known consultant to Fortune 500 companies on all aspects of career transition and development, and is an expert on career management and workforce trends. To date, Kenny is the only Chief Career Officer named in the staffing industry. Prior to assuming her role at Adecco in February, 2006, Kenny was Chief Global Sales and Marketing Officer of Lee Hecht Harrison (LHH). There, she was responsible for the business development of global accounts and for leveraging the brand and its services. At one time, Kenny also served as LHH’s Chief Operating Officer, responsible for directing all operational aspects of the firm, the industry’s first woman in that role.
