Thursday, October 18, 9:30 a.m. - 10:30 a.m.

Enjoy a conversation with SHRM Director of Diversity, Dr. Shirley Davis and noted diversity expert Dr. R. Roosevelt Thomas, Jr. In this provocative, interactive discussion moderated by Shirley Davis, Ph.D., you'll hear Dr. Thomas provide frank answers to commonly asked questions from diversity practitioners including the evolutionary gains of the field, the various schools of thought on diversity, global diversity, inclusion, and the future of diversity. In this rare opportunity to have a captive audience with Dr. Thomas, participants will have the opportunity to also ask him their burning questions and to hear his response. So come prepared to learn, engage, and hear new ideas and perspectives from one of our pioneers in the field of diversity.

Would you like to have dinner and meet new people? If you don’t like to eat alone…if you like good food but don’t know the Philadelphia restaurant scene…if you would like to meet other conference, attendees….then join a group of your colleagues for dinner in Philadelphia. The Meet to Eat program is designed to assist conference attendees with dinner arrangements. If you would like assistance with restaurant selection and reservations for a small group, stop by the registration area while at the conference and someone will be happy to make reservations for you at the restaurant of your choice.
