Leading with Heart
SESSION #901
Workplace Application: This session shows you how to share
the vision, set the ground rules and develop the skills to produce
inspired performance.
This session offers insight and wisdom on choosing values, aiming
for excellence, maintaining integrity, finding the courage to change,
helping others reach their potential and more. Leading with Heart
is a session for leaders and is about heart—the universal
symbol for caring and compassion. Great leaders share a common
belief that a company cannot maintain high-quality people, products
or profits unless it is lead with compassion and caring. This session
will help you master key attitudes and actions to impact the lives
of those around you. Influence is an art—and begins with
the heart of a leader.
Presenter: Steve Gilliland, CSP, certified speaking
professional, Steve Gilliland, Inc.,Winston-Salem, N.C. (#1 rated
speaker from 2007 SHRM Annual Conference.)
Thank You, Thank You, Thank You! 99 Unique Ways to Recognize
Employees to Increase Motivation, Retention and Revenues
SESSION #902
Workplace Application: This session will provide you with
99 practical and easy-to-implement ideas to recognize and reward
your employees to increase motivation, retention and revenue
growth.
Not every HR professional has a wheelbarrow full of cash to pass
out for work well done. Workplace success is traced back to motivated
employees and a culture that recognizes and appreciates them. A
winning system acknowledges and rewards two types of activities
performance and behavior. Learn 99 effective and low-cost actions
you can take to recognize all levels of your workforce, which will
result in higher retention, customer satisfaction and revenue growth.
Presenter: Mindy H. Chapman, Esq., president,
Mindy Chapman & Associates LLC, Chicago, Ill.
From Ordinary to Extraordinary*
SESSION #903
Workplace Application: With humor and insight,
John Alston will help those facing personal or professional challenges
move past blame and self-limiting beliefs to jump start their performance
and create not just satisfied customers but life-time relationships.
Make work an extraordinary experience! Learn to work hard at only
those things that count and reduce frustration levels at the same
time. By setting your individual “attitude thermostat,” you
can change any organization’s climate. Discover how to unlock
you and your co-workers’ hidden potential. You will learn
to make customers, clients and co-workers feel unique, and turn
acquaintances into long-term profitable relationships, not just
satisfied customers.
Presenter: John Alston, CSP, CPAE, speaker/author,
John Alston Presents, Inc., Los Angeles, Calif.
*Please note that this session is for personal development and
does not count for recertification credit because the content is
not tied to HRCI's body of knowledge.
