Executive Education Programs
NEW! Strategic Persuasion & Talent
Acquisition
Presented in partnership with the Wharton School

June 21–24 (Four-Day Program)
1.5 CEUs or 15 recertification hours
In today’s fast-paced business environment, you must consistently
update your professional competencies. This program exposes you
to contemporary and emerging perspectives in management today.
This four-day seminar will be divided into two parts. The first
two days will be dedicated to strategic persuasion and the art
and science of selling ideas. The second two days will address
the issue of talent acquisition.
You will begin with an intensive, personalized, down-to-earth
session that provides critical tools to sell your ideas at work.
Wharton professor Mario Moussa will take an “inside-out” approach
to help you recognize which persuasion styles come most naturally
and enable you to understand the steps you must take to gain influence,
credibility and confidence in your organizations.
In the second part of this program, we will consider the problem
of talent acquisition in the context of uncertainty from business
demands. In an environment where business and competitive
conditions change constantly, the idea of “planning” for
the future is a challenge. We consider solutions to this challenge
that consider explicitly the uncertainty in business needs, incorporating
alternative arrangements like scenario planning that help to address
anticipate those factors that are difficult, if not impossible,
to forecast accurately.
