Workplace Application: The overall objective is to familiarize HR managers and executives with the concepts and decisions involved in developing a business case for diversity and leveraging diversity for competitive advantage. .

Workplace Application: This session will illustrate the use of diversity metrics as a measurement and accountability system to enhance diversity change efforts.
There is a common saying—“you can’t manage what you don’t measure”—that is certainly true when it comes to diversity. Measuring the results of diversity initiatives is key to demonstrating its value to organizational performance. This presentation will use an interactive “mini case study” scenario using specific computer-based tools and other approaches to forecast, plan and implement challenging but realistic goals to achieve a set of diversity initiatives.

This session will discuss the steps to take, and will provide real-life examples of ways to accomplish the shift from "HR program du jour" to operating philosophy. Participants will take away a checklist of things to consider and a list of resources to consult in introducing Diversity to their workplace.
