Human Resource Competency Assessment Suite
For the past 20 years results of the Human Resource Competency Study (HRCS) have been used to determine what knowledge and abilities are necessary for successful HR professionals. Led by Professors Dave Ulrich and Wayne Brockbank, The RBL Group and the Ross School of Business at the University of Michigan recently completed Round 5 of the HRCS with the assistance of global research partners: SHRM, IAE School of Business, IMI, Tsinghua University, AHRI, and the National HRD Network. Over 10,000 individuals participated in the current study, making this the largest current global study on HR competencies.

The HR Competency 360 for Individuals
The HR Competency 360 is a multi-rater assessment that collects feedback from colleagues on their perceptions of your performance and generates a comparison with your self-assessment and against norms from the HRCS global database.
Through the HR Competency 360, you, your supervisor, and selected HR and non-HR associates complete an assessment of your performance against each of the critical competencies identified in the HRCS.
HR Competency Toolkit
The HR Competency Toolkit is a FREE comprehensive set of learning and planning tools available online to those who purchase the HR Competency Self-Assessment or the HR Competency 360 for Individuals. This online development-planning tool includes a review of the HRCS research, complete with in-depth discussions about each of the six competency areas.
