About the EMA Foundation
The EMA Foundation was formed by the Employment Management Association, (EMA), in 1988 to focus energy on enhancing the outreach, vision and visibility of the employment profession. Currently the EMA Foundation focuses on three programs:
- The EMAF School/Business Partnership Awards, which make cash awards to up to five successful partnerships each year throughout the United States. Competition is open to grades K-12 in public and private schools. The awards are co-sponsored by The Wall Street Journal. For more information click here.
- The EMAF Fellowship Awards, which provides up to five (5) cash awards for graduate study in human resource management, including the Richard Gast Fellowship, named in honor of Richard Gast, an extraordinary EMAF board member and volunteer. For more information click here.
- The EMAF Research Grant Program which awards funding grants to individuals, universities and other institutions for staffing and employment-related research projects. For more information click here.
