The purposes of an organization’s human resources are to add value, make the organization more competitive, and help the organization achieve its business objectives. While there are hundreds of “HR metrics,” these metrics add value only when they become “business metrics.” That is they measure the impact of the organization’s human capital on the achievement of business objectives, they can be linked human capital to financial statements, they help the organization access and manage risks, and they help the organization make the right decisions.

This webinar discusses the importance of developing a context for your metrics, discusses the alignment of HR metrics with strategic and business objectives, reviews the development of key performance indicators (KPIs), describes the calculation of employment practices liability risk exposure, a core competency, and reviews the role HR metrics play in helping the organization make critical business decisions.
