Program Overview
Most employers must comply with Title VII of the Civil Rights Act, the federal law that prohibits most workplace harassment and discrimination on the basis of race, color, national origin, religion and sex. The law covers all private employers, state and local governments, and educational institutions with 15 or more employees. Complying with the law means much more than simply putting "EOE" at the end of your recruitment notices. This webcast will provide you with an enhanced understanding of the Civil Rights Act and other workplace discrimination statutes. You'll also learn what documentation needs to be retained, and for how long; as well as what policies and training you need to put in place to safeguard your organization against charges of discrimination.
