The way people build their networks and relationships with each other has drastically changed since the Internet and e-mail communications became mainstream in the 1990s. In May 2008, SHRM conducted this survey to determine how staffing professionals are using online technologies, specifically social networking sites, for recruitment and screening of job candidates.
