Mike Deblieux, SHRM-SCP, is the author of SHRM's best-selling Performance Appraisal Sourcebook and six other popular books on topics ranging from corrective action to discipline and performance management. He has presented frequently at SHRM national, regional, and local conferences. He is acclaimed for his knowledgeable and practical approach to everyday workplace issues. Mike is a SHRM course leader. He presents both in-person and virtual programs on topics such as performance management, succession planning and talent acquisition.
Mike designs and presents seminars and workshops for HR Professionals and workplace leaders. He provides 1.2.1 Leadership Development support for individual workplace leaders. He facilitates leadership retreats.
Mike is a past president of PIHRA (the southern California SHRM affiliate). He has been honored with PIHRA's prestigious HR Excellence Award. He is a recipient of the University of California Irvine Extension Distinguished Instructor Award.
