The results of the 2018 national and California state elections continue to have a significant impact on issues of importance to California employers. Find out how these issues affect you and your organization. Whether your business is based in California, or you only have a few employees in the state, this program will help you understand what you need to do in order to comply with the new laws that are on the books as of January 1, 2020.

You will also hear how SHRM members can become involved in your state legislative process. Jason Gabhart, SHRM's director of state affairs for California, and Michael Kalt, a partner in the law firm Wilson Turner Kosmo LLP, will provide updates on HR issues including sexual harassment training, workplace accommodations and employee classification.
