With another open-enrollment season quickly approaching, are benefit managers really "walking the walk" when it comes to enrollment communications for your employees? In a world where people rely on mobile devices for just about everything, what if you could make benefit enrollment communications so easy that your employees could enroll from their bike or backyard? The use of mobile and digital media, including everything from mp4 videos to chatbots, is a hot trend that helps employers meet employees where they are: on the go.

In this program, Elizabeth Moberg, a principal in Mercer's workforce communications and change business, and Michael Sinkeldam, a principal in Mercer’s U.S. health and benefits compliance group, will provide insights into how to deliver an effective “consumer-grade” communication experience -- and why it’s important. And Carmen Johnson, a benefits and payroll manager at Bell’s Brewery, will walk you through the journey to adopt some of these trends and the anticipated results.

After viewing this program, you will walk away with a more solid understanding of:
  • Which digital communications tools are important to your multi-generational workforce
  • Trends in open-enrollment communication and emerging media
  • How to write for modern audiences -- and to get your message across
  • Re-thinking print communications and how to use print selectively for high impact
  • Using open enrollment as a platform to reinforce or propel your company’s value proposition
  • Compliance challenges and requirements
