The evidence is clear: Well-being is good for people, good for the organization, and essential for building a winning team. Yet, despite the many offerings available in most organizations – from walking challenges to meditation classes to flextime offerings – most employees are opting out. So, what’s holding people back from engaging more with well-being at work? Studies show that the manager may be the gatekeeper. In this program, author and consultant Laura Putnam looks at how your organization can unlock the potential of managers to be multipliers of well-being with three simple practices: Do, speak and create. Whether you are a manager or work with managers, this session will give you a fresh perspective on what it really takes to be a high-performing team leader. You will learn:

  • Three reasons why well-being is essential to enhanced engagement, productivity and organizational excellence.
  • Why the manager is the primary contributor toward enhanced employee well-being -- and how to engage him or her in this role.
  • Three strategies that every manager can use to build a winning team.
