Using Analytics to Improve Your Hiring Process and Measure Quality of Hire

Presenter: Scott Mondore, Strategic Management Decisions

Original Program Date: October 2018 (available for on-demand viewing through January 2019)

Program length: 60 minutes

In the current employment climate, finding talent is a daunting and time consuming task. But, there are new techniques you can use to help make your recruiting and hiring more efficient. And, the good news is, these new, valid techniques are in data you are likely already compiling. By leveraging your candidate data, employee survey data and measuring quality of hire data (if you are not doing so already), you can develop a structured and highly effective selection process to identify sources of both internal and external talent. In this program, Scott Mondore of Strategic Management Decisions (SMD) will describe the steps of using analytics and leveraging data sources-along with a thorough job/competency analysis to identify the critical knowledge, skills, abilities, and competencies of hiring success. He will also outline a business partner roadmap you can use to validate the selection process and demonstrate its impact on critical business outcomes. Providing such data to senior leaders and skeptical front-line managers helps to gain buy-in and ensure that the standardized processes are followed when making future selection decisions.
