Firms With More Than $100 Million in Annual Sales: Health care staffing company
AMN Healthcare created an AMN Community Connections program, which provides charitable giving, scholarship programs, relief efforts and team-member volunteerism to support initiatives for the underserved, education and economic development. Last April a team of AMN doctors, nurses and executives visited Guatemala to offer their medical services to hundreds of people in need. With assistance from the nonprofit organization HELPS, the team performed nearly 94 surgeries, provided 100 dental treatments and attended to 562 patients.
Firms With $25 Million-$100 Million in Annual Sales: Recognizing that military members face significant challenges when leaving active duty,
Incepture established its InVET program, Incepture Veteran Employment Taskforce, to advocate for and assist veterans and their families through career counseling, military-experience transition, recruiting and charitable events. Since 2011, the company has worked with 1,000 veterans seeking employment and has placed many of them in jobs.
Assurance Agency Ltd. established an employee-driven initiative designed to “inspire hope in local communities by becoming actively involved and developing meaningful partnerships with charitable organizations.” The company’s employees have put in 12,600 labor hours at charitable events, packed approximately 230,000 pounds of food for a local food bank and granted educational scholarships totaling $560,000.

The BOSS Group), two industry suppliers (CareerBuilder and
Avionte) and one affiliated chapter (New York Staffing Association).
The award recipients will be honored at ASA’s annual conference, scheduled for Oct. 8-10 in Orlando, Fla.
