Katie Brennan, SHRM-CP, has been a SHRM HR Knowledge Advisor since October 2015. She brought 11 years of human resources experience with her to the role. Katie has worked for both large and small employers in the public and private sectors. She began her HR career in higher education, later transitioned into the hospitality industry, and eventually moved into the nonprofit realm. She holds a bachelor's degree in human resource development from the University of Florida.
