RE: Company event conduct reminders

[Company name]'s annual holiday party is just around the corner. We know all of you know what is expected of you in terms of conduct at a company event, but we wanted to provide some helpful reminders. We want everyone to be safe, healthy, and have a good time and the following tips will help ensure that you will do so.

Alcohol – Alcoholic beverages will be served by professional bartenders to employees of legal drinking age only. Alcoholic beverages will cease being served one hour before the planned close of the party; non-alcoholic beverages will continue to be available. Please remember to not overindulge and if you are planning to drive, please limit your alcohol consumption and make plans with a pre-designated driver.

Apparel - No one is expected to wear formal attire but at a minimum please adhere to business casual rules for the workplace since you will be among co-workers, clientele, vendors, customers and their families. A good rule of thumb is to ensure that you are covered from your shoulders to your knees.

Behavior – Employees are expected to adhere to [Company name]'s code of conduct during all company sponsored events, including the holiday party. Employees should behave in a manner which would be appropriate for the workplace setting. The company workplace harassment policies are in effect at this event.

Post Party – Eat, drink, and be merry, but be careful how you leave, who you leave with and where you go when you leave. You should arrange in advance for your post-party plans including a designated driver if you will be drinking alcohol. [Company name] has also arranged for ride share services and taxis to be available to transport employees who do not have a safe ride home.

Gift Giving – [Company name] does not encourage but will permit gift giving at the party. Gifts should not be obscene, offensive or of a sexually explicit nature.

Let's all do our part to ensure a highly successful and enjoyable event!
