March 17 is the deadline for applying for one of seven $2,500 SHRM Foundation scholarships to attend the 2016 Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) Annual Conference & Exposition. The conference is June 19-22 in Washington, D.C.
This is the second year for the scholarships, which will be awarded to one person in each of SHRM’s five domestic geographic regions, one student member from any SHRM region and one military veteran from any SHRM region.
Winners will receive a complimentary, full-conference registration, a $500 travel stipend, and up to a four-night stay in Washington, D.C.
Application is open to SHRM members who have been unable because of a lack of financial support to attend Annual Conference in the past.
Winners will be announced on or before April 28, according to the Foundation. All applicants will be notified of results by e-mail. Eligible applicants:
