Bille serves as the key lawyer and legal advisor on SHRM’s major business transactions; judges the merits of major court cases filed against or on behalf of SHRM; and ensures that SHRM conducts its business in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations. She has been vice president and associate general counsel at SHRM since 2014. Prior to that, she served as SHRM’s associate general counsel for five years. She also practiced labor and employment law with the law firm of Hogan Lovells and served as attorney advisor for the vice chair of the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission. Bille received her juris doctorate from the George Mason University School of Law and her bachelor’s degree from the University of Minnesota in Minneapolis.
