ALEXANDRIA, Va. — The Society for Human Resource Management’s (SHRM)
2014 Employment Law & Legislative Conference will enable attendees to learn more about complex workplace legislation and the latest regulatory activities from those who implement federal employment laws.
Conference sessions will have a strong focus on timely topics such as the Affordable Care Act (ACA), background checks in the hiring process, and state trends related to employment law. Attendees also will also learn how to spot and address common problems that can put organizations at risk. More than 500 human resource professionals are expected to attend the conference sessions on workplace law and HR public policy issues.
