VIDEO: 3 Things Employers Should Know About the Executive Order on Travel and Immigration

Mar 7, 2017

President Trump's new executive order reinstitutes a travel ban for nationals from Iran, Libya, Somalia, Sudan, Syria and Yemen.

It will be in place for 90 days initially, but could be extended. Countries could be added or removed from the ban list.

Justin Storch, agency liaison of the Council for Global Immigration, an affiliate of the Society for Human Resource Management, offers employers three recommendations about what they need to do now that the order has been signed.

This SHRM-produced video may be used by media outlets as they develop stories about the executive order.
