ALEXANDRIA, Va. — The SHRM Foundation, the charity affiliate of the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM), has been awarded a 4-star rating from Charity Navigator, demonstrating strong financial health and commitment to transparency.
"The SHRM Foundation is proud to be awarded the 4-star rating as we continue to empower HR professionals," said Ashlee Droscher Smith, director of development, The SHRM Foundation.
Charity Navigator is the largest charity evaluator nationwide and has been cited by Forbes, Business Week and other publications for its data-based analysis of charitable organizations.
The SHRM Foundation is among the one-quarter of charities to receive this highest distinction. The designation sets SHRM Foundation apart from its peers and promotes public trust from donors and supporters.
In addition to the award, the Foundation is also a Platinum GuideStar participant, an achievement earned by demonstrating continuous fundraising results year after year.
"Being a recipient of the highest levels of recognition offered by both GuideStar and Charity Navigator demonstrates the SHRM Foundation's commitment to exceed industry standards and continue to partner with donors to fulfill their mission to champion workforce and workplace transformation," Droscher Smith said.
