Alexandria, Va., – Nov. 19, 2011 – Three human resource and business executives have been elected to the Board of Directors for the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) for 2012.

A 13-member Board of Directors provides leadership for SHRM — the world’s largest HR association — by setting broad policies and strategic direction and providing fiduciary oversight.

Elected to the 2012 SHRM Board of Directors were:

“We are pleased to welcome these three highly experienced human resource executives to the SHRM Board of Directors. Their expertise — experiences with business strategy and the global marketplace and an understanding of a changing workforce — will help guide SHRM as it continues to serve the needs of its membership,” said Henry G. (Hank) Jackson, president and CEO of SHRM. Jackson is an ex officio voting member of the board.

Bette J. Francis, SPHR, a board member since 2007, was re-elected to the 2012 SHRM board as chair-designate.
