Experts to speak on workplace topics in the news; SHRM and SHRM Foundation to release research on employee benefits and evolution of work

ALEXANDRIA, Va. — More than 15,000 people are expected to attend the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) Annual Conference & Exposition at the Orange County Convention Center from June 22-25 in Orlando, Fla. (#SHRM14)

The conference will include top trends and topics affecting today’s HR professional, including health care reform, workplace flexibility, national and California-specific employment regulation, social media recruiting, and more.

Additionally, SHRM plans to announce the formal name of its new competency-based certification on the first day of the conference, Sunday, June 22. On Monday, June 23, the SHRM Foundation will release Evolution of Work and the Worker research conducted by The Economist Intelligence Unit, and on Tuesday, June 24, SHRM will release the 2014 Employee Benefits Survey.
