Coretha Rushing becomes board chair designate for 2016

ALEXANDRIA, Va. — Three human resource professionals have been elected to the Society for Human Resource Management’s Board of Directors for 2016.
Joining the 13-member SHRM board beginning Jan. 1, 2016, are:
Browne, who has served on SHRM’s Membership Advisory Council, and Morris will serve two-year terms. Enright will serve a one-year term.
In addition, two HR executives were re-elected to the board. Jose Tomas, SHRM-SCP, executive vice president and chief human resources officer at Anthem Inc., Indianapolis, was re-elected to a two-year term. David Windley, president, IQTalent Partners, Los Altos, Calif., was re-elected to a three-year term.
Coretha M. Rushing, SHRM-SCP, senior vice president and chief human resources officer, Equifax Inc., Atlanta, was elected chair designate. She will become board chair in 2017.
SHRM’s Board of Directors sets broad policies and strategic direction and provides fiduciary oversight for the 275,000-member professional association. The 2016 Board of Directors was announced during SHRM’s Volunteer Leaders’ Summit in Washington, D.C.
Also serving on the board in 2016 will be:
President and CEO Henry G. (Hank) Jackson, CPA, is an ex officio voting member of the board.
