Alexandria, Va. – The Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) today announced the appointment of Brian Dickson to the newly created position Chief of Corporate Solutions and Strategic Partnerships (CCSSP).
In his new role, Dickson will develop and implement SHRM’s corporate sales and training programs designed specifically for corporate, government and non-profit clients. He also will oversee strategic business partnerships and work closely with SHRM’s Chief Financial Officer to implement management controls and reporting systems.
“I'm excited to be part of SHRM,” said Dickson. “SHRM can play a key role in helping organizations anticipate -- and address -- the critical people management challenges of our times. I'm looking forward to working with my SHRM colleagues to expand SHRM's engagement with corporations, governments, and non-profit organizations.”
Prior to joining SHRM, Dickson was a vice president at
Celerant Consulting, a partner at Federal Management Partners, an account executive for IBM Business Consulting Services, a partner for PriceWaterhouseCoopers Consulting, and a foreign service officer for the State Department. As a consultant with an HR focus, he led client projects in strategic human capital planning, organizational development, business process reengineering, and learning system implementation.

O’Neil.“Brian will be a key component to SHRM’s growth in the organizational training and product development realms.”
Dickson holds a master’s degree in foreign service with a concentration in national security studies from the Georgetown University School of Foreign Service, and a bachelor’s degree in philosophy from Wabash College in Indiana.
