SHRM Media Wins Jesse H. Neal Award

HR Magazine, the flagship publication of the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM), won a 55th annual Jesse H. Neal National Business Journalism Award in the “Best Department” category. Jesse H. Neal National Business Journalism Awards are considered the Pulitzer Prize for business-to-business publications.
HR Magazine’s “HR News” department won in the “Best Department” category for its monthly delivery of the most important, current business and HR news developments to 250,000 subscribers, comprised ofHR professionals at all career levels.

HR Magazine has provided business and HR professionals the news and information they need to manage their organizations and careers well,” said SHRM Chief Publishing and E-Media Officer Gary Rubin. “SHRM is proud of the ‘HR News’ win in the ‘Best Department’ category and of SHRM Online’s nomination in the ‘Best Use of Video’ category.”
SHRM Online was nominated for a Jesse H. Neal Award in the “Best Use of Video” category for two videos in an ongoing video series of original content featuring HR experts and SHRM Online writers discussing timely HR issues and offering practical advice.
The Jesse H. Neal Awards are given by American Business Media (ABM) and named after ABM's first managing director. The awards were started in 1955 to acknowledge editorial excellence in business media publications and are the industry’s most prominent editorial honors.
