SHRM 2013 Talent Management Conference, April 15-17, Las Vegas

Alexandria, Va. – Nearly 1,000 HR professionals and recruiters are expected to attend the annual SHRM Talent Management Conference & Exposition, April 15-17, 2013 at the Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino in Las Vegas, Nevada.

The SHRM—Society for Human Resource Management—conference features roughly 50 sessions focused on management, recruitment, and retention of talented employees companies need to drive success.

The conference will feature roughly 50 sessions lead by people management experts, covering the most relevant, modern-day talent management issues including:

  • Can you do that?—the latest news in employee selection procedures;
  • Best practices for leveraging social technology in engagement;
  • Avoiding HR extinction by transforming your talent management practices;
  • Quality of hire HR metrics
  • Mobile recruiting strategies;
  • Global mobility and talent management; and
  • California-specific HR and recruitment insight.

Pre-conference workshops on Sunday, April 14 will focus on hidden networks and succession planning, strategies to solve the talent gap, and tools for create engaged workplace cultures.

Keynote speakers include:

  • Jane McGonigal, @avantgame – gamer designer and futurist; and
