SHRM eLearning Library: Educational Programming for HR Recertification

Aug 16, 2016
ALEXANDRIA, Va. — The Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) introduces its new 500-plus-course eLearning Library, designed to assist certified human resource professionals in qualifying for recertification.

Available now to holders of HR certifications, the eLearning Library is an online catalog of educational courses on a wide variety of topics based on prerecorded SHRM conferences and webinars. Each course is tied to HR competencies, so participants can target their recertification activities to their educational needs.

A one-year unlimited subscription includes concurrent sessions from SHRM Annual Conferences and specialty SHRM conferences held since 2013. New courses are being added continuously.

The eLearning Library, conveniently available to users 24/7, is designed for easy-to-use, self-paced virtual learning.

“The eLearning Library is original, authoritative and high-quality educational content that has been vetted by SHRM, the foremost HR educator,” said Brian Dickson, SHRM’s senior vice president of professional development and strategic partnerships. “Certified professionals will find the ease of accessibility to courses preapproved for professional development credits a major benefit of a subscription.”

Holders of SHRM-Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) and SHRM-Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP) credentials can earn up to 30 professional development credits toward maintaining their SHRM Certification via eLearning Library courses.

ELearning Library offerings, which incorporate a quiz into each course, also fulfill HR Certification Institute (HRCI) recertification requirements. Users are able to earn all 60 recertification credits required by HRCI via the eLearning Library.

Powered by Docebo LMS, the eLearning Library gives SHRM subscribers access to dashboard functionality and transcript tools, allowing users to plot and track their progress toward recertification.
