New web tool allows HR professionals and employers to enhance diversity and inclusion programs and hiring
SAN DIEGO — The Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) has joined with the DirectEmployers Association to introduce
SHRM Enterprise Solutions, a turnkey product that allows employers to showcase their commitment to diversity and inclusive hiring.
Targeted to employers with advanced affirmative action programs, the heart of SHRM Enterprise Solutions is one or more stand-alone websites performing as a primary tool for companies to publish, promote and engage with a culturally diverse audience.
“As more companies expand their commitment to inclusive hiring practices — and realize the benefits of doing so — we are pleased to work with DirectEmployers to offer SHRM Enterprise Solutions to the marketplace,” said
Jessica Perry, SHRM senior vice president of publishing and media. “With its simple setup and user-friendly interface, the platform builds on an employer’s regular recruitment efforts with focused outreach to these distinct candidate communities.”
The announcement was made by Perry at SHRM’s
Talent Management Conference & Exposition, a sold-out event being attended by more than 1,300 recruiters and HR professionals in San Diego.
HR professionals can take advantage of three customized
SHRM Enterprise Solutions products:
“DirectEmployers has seen tremendous traction with the platform since first launching it primarily for veteran hiring last year,” said Heather Hoffman, vice president of digital strategy for DirectEmployers. “We’re confident that, as the leading voice for HR, SHRM and its marketing efforts will accelerate and broaden the adoption of these customized websites, particularly among employers seeking to implement or extend their diversity efforts.”
Among the platform’s unique features is a built-in military skills translator called the “Military Crosswalk.” This tool has made it easier for transitioning veterans to quickly identify and locate civilian jobs that match or complement their military experience and training. It also handles job listings from any employer.
