SHRM Partners with U.S. Department of State: U.S. Foreign Policy Discussion with 100 Diversity, Inclusion Leaders
Alexandria, Va. – The Society for Human Resource Management is partnered with the U.S. Department of State to bring together 100 diversity and inclusion leaders for the first-ever “Diversity, Inclusion and U.S. Foreign Policy” strategy session. (Twitter: #DIUSFP12) The International Society of Diversity and Inclusion Professionals is also an event partner.

Time: 8:30 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
Where: U.S Department of State – Marshall Center
2201 C St. NW, Washington, D.C. 20037(Enter through the 21st street entrance, between C and D Street)
Who: 100 diversity and inclusion leaders from the leading public organizations, companies, corporations, and universities.
Note to reporters: Credentialed media must contact the U.S. Department of State directly to pre-register. Pre-set time for cameras: 8:00 a.m. from the 21st Street Entrance. Final access time for journalists and still photographers: 8:15 a.m. from the 21st Street Entrance.
REQUIRED BY SECURITY: Media representatives may attend this event upon presentation of one of the following: (1) A U.S. Government-issued identification card (Department of State, White House, Congress, Department of Defense or Foreign Press Center); (2) a media-issued photo identification card; or (3) a letter from their employer on letterhead verifying their employment as a journalist, accompanied by an official photo identification card (driver's license, passport).
