ALEXANDRIA, Va. - The Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) 2015 Talent Management Conference & Exposition will cover a wide range of timely issues on attracting and retaining an organization’s most valuable asset — its employees.

Among the more than 50 concurrent session topics are social media and mobile recruiting, background checks, workplace flexibility, hiring in California and engaging Millennials.

More than 1,000 recruiters and human resource professionals from across the country are expected to attend the conference, and more than 40 companies will be featured as exhibitors.

​General session keynote speakers are Lisa Bodell, founder and CEO of futurethink, a provider of innovation tools and resources; Ben Casnocha, chief operating officer of LinkedIn; Desiree Rogers, CEO of Johnson Publishing Company and former White House social secretary; and Mike Walsh, founder and CEO of Tomorrow, a consumer innovation research lab.

RESEARCH: SHRM will release the 2015 Employee Job Satisfaction and Engagement Survey during the conference. A press briefing about the survey will be held from 9:45-10:30 a.m. PST/ 12:45-1:30 p.m. EST on Tuesday, April 28 via conference call with Evren Esen, director of survey programs at SHRM.
