John joined SHRM in 2010. Previously, he was an editor at the Thompson Publishing Group and a reporter with CCH in Washington, D.C., where he covered Congress, the Supreme Court and federal agencies, reporting on a broad range of business and workplace issues. Before that, he was a legal editor at The National Law Journal in New York City. Scorza attended the University of Iowa College of Law and earned a bachelor’s degree in political science from Northwestern College in Iowa.
