OVERVIEW

The HR-X framework defines HR’s vast responsibilities through four key dimensions, 16 core practice areas and more than 70 subpractice areas, offering a structured approach to evaluate and understand HR’s impact in driving organizational success. HR-X delivers clarity executives can use to justify investment, prioritize initiatives, and connect HR performance directly to financial and workforce outcomes.

    Design Guidelines

    As a product of SHRM, HR-X should adhere to the visual identity of the SHRM Master Brand or SHRM Business for all creative. HR-X visuals should not be treated as graphic elements within marketing or onsite assets. 

      LOGO

      Logos are not to be used as watermarks, backgrounds, textures, or graphic elements. The logo lockup should comply with the same logo usage guidelines as the SHRM Master Brand logo.

      COLOR PALETTE

      HR-X should adhere to the color guidelines set for the SHRM Master Brand or SHRM Business. Colors that are part of the SHRM Master Brand color palette (SHRM Dark Blue and SHRM Bright Blue) can be used in applications. However, dimension colors not part of the SHRM Master Brand color palette (Indigo and Teal) should only be used in reference to their corresponding dimension. Dimension colors should not be treated as accent colors for use in graphic elements, backgrounds, typography, textures, iconography, photo treatments or tiles.

      APPLICATIONS

      All marketing and onsite applications should adhere to the visual identity of the SHRM Master Brand or SHRM Business. 

      The HR-X colors can be used in research materials but each color must only be used in reference to its respective dimension. SHRM Dark Blue represents Market Discernment. SHRM Bright Blue represents Organizational Impact. Indigo represents Functional Acceleration. Teal represents Talent Optimization. Dimension colors should not be used as background colors, iconography, or photo treatments unless they are part of the SHRM Master Brand color palette.
