Welcome to the SHRM Recertification Provider Program! You are now authorized to offer programs and events for SHRM professional development credits (PDCs).
Activities can be virtual, in-person or blended. They can occur regularly or just once. Read the categories below to best identify your activity type.
In-Person In-person learning is any form of educational or instructional interaction that occurs “in person” and in real time between teachers and students or among colleagues and peers. Examples of this type of activity include seminars, workshops, or conferences.
Virtual: Live Online Live Online activities require a live instructor as well as real-time/live interaction and engagement with the instructor and/or other students. Examples of this activity type include webinars and webcasts that require real-time/live (not recorded) interaction.
Note: If you have a Live Online program that is also offered as eLearning/self-paced event, add each format type to your portal as a separate program.
Virtual: eLearning & Self-Paced eLearning and self-paced programs are programs that do not require real-time/live interaction or engagement with an instructor or other participants. Examples of this activity type include passive learning activities such as videoconferences, webcasts, audiocasts, podcasts, eBooks, and books.
Reoccuring Activities A reocurring activity has the same content but is delivered at different times and/or locations. If you offer a reoccurring activity, please select the recurring activity type and set a beginning and end date range that does not exceed your provider term status.
Note: For eLearning activities, please select “Elearning” as the activity type, even if it is a reoccurring activity.
